Transdisziplinaritätsforschung (see English version below)
Die Transdisziplinaritätsforschung (TD-Forschung) ist eine begleitende Forschung und untersucht die Zusammenarbeit von Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft in TRANSENS auf übergeordneter Ebene. Zentrale Fragen sind, wie erstens ein transdisziplinärer Forschungsprozess gestaltet werden soll und zweitens welcher ‚Mehrwert‘ gegenüber interdisziplinärer Forschung (also ohne Beteiligung von Nicht-Spezialisten) geschaffen werden kann. Das TdLab der ETH Zürich konzeptioniert und leitet die TD-Forschung. Eine Übersicht zur Transdisziplinaritätsforschung gibt folgendes Booklet.

Transdisciplinary Research
The transdisciplinary research (TD-research) investigates on a meta basis the cooperation between scientists and civil actors of the TRANSENS project. The two foci of the TD-research focuses are, (a) how to design the transdisciplinary process, and (b) determine the benefit of the td-approach in comparison to an interdisciplinary approach.
