Four thematic corridors, transdisciplinarity research and promotion of young researchers
TRANSENS will conduct transdisciplinary research into the managment of high-level radioactive waste: The interested public and other non-academic actors will be integrated in research contexts, specifically int Transdisciplinary Work Packages (TAP) on four thematic corridors relevant for the disposal of highly radioactive waste:
- HAFF: Capacity to act and flexibility in a reversible procedure
- SAFE: Safety Case: Stakeholder perspectives and transdisciplinarity
- TRUST: Technology, uncertainties, complexity and trust
- DIPRO: Dialogues and process design in interaction between law, justice and governance
- The possibilities of transdisciplinary research in nuclear waste management are systematically reflected in the network (transdisciplinarity research)
- Special activities aim at promoting young talent and maintaining competence
